Drop Shipping Europe, Should You Target ALL Of Europe? – Shopify Drop Shipping Tutorial
Is it a good idea to target all of Europe when you do your Facebook ad? My answer…NO! I know a lot of people do that. I’ve seen different Facebook groups where a lot of people target Europe. However, this is something that I never do. It’s not because the countries in Europe are not converting well. Let me explain further.

Should You Target ALL of Europe?
Consider first the shipping method.
As you probably know by now, when I test a new product, I always start with the United States. It is a proven market, and I know that people are buying a lot. At some point, I’m going to scale to other countries. The first thing that I do is I look at Aliexpress because most of the time I’m drop shipping from Aliexpress. When you have one winning product in Aliexpress, do not expect that the seller is going to be able to sell everywhere in the world. For the United States, for example, their shipping method is ePacket.
ePacket is a great way to ship your products because it is super cheap, it’s fast (around 2-3 weeks delivery) and it has a tracking number. Remember, as a seller in e-commerce, it is important that you always have a tracking number when shipping your products. There are also other shipping methods available in Aliexpress, but what’s important is, the product should be delivered within 1 month, and you get a tracking number.
Check supplier’s shipping options.
Now, let’s say you want to do Facebook ads, and you want to start targetting other countries like Australia. Don’t set up your Facebook ads right away to target consumers from Australia. You have to check first in Aliexpress if your supplier offers a good shipping method for Australia. So basically, what you need to do is open your product’s page in Aliexpress, and select the countries to see the shipping options available. Again, choose a delivery method that provides a tracking number and has less than 1-month delivery timeframe. If there’s no option that can do both, then it’s not advisable to target Australia. You can start choosing other countries like Canada.
Europe is not a country.
Now to answer the question, “is it a good idea to target Europe?”. No. The problem with that is, Europe is not a country. There is no seller in Aliexpress that ships to Europe. However, they ship to different countries in Europe. So you have to look for each country individually if their shipping option is good. You can check countries like Germany, France, Spain, etc. If you create Facebook ads that targets the whole of Europe, you’re basically selling a product to people in countries where shipping is not available. Let’s say someone from Spain orders your product. By the time you fulfill the order, you realize that there’s no shipping option in Aliexpress with a tracking number, and it would take 2 months to deliver the product. So you have to tell your client that you cannot fulfill the order. That is bad for business because you just wasted your time, and your credibility gets affected.
I also see people who target consumer s worldwide. It is not a good idea to do that because again, there may be buyers from countries where shipping is not available. You or your buyers will have to cancel the orders.
So how should it be done? I prefer to make a list of all of the countries that provide fast shipping with a tracking number. It is advisable to target the big English-speaking countries in Europe. Don’t worry it only takes about 20 minutes to go on Aliexpress, and make a list of all the countries in Europe that you should target. Once you already know your target countries, that’s when you create Facebook ads specifically for each country.
Now you know. Go check your product page and see where you can ship them to, and create your Facebook ads.
